Three Valleys Simulated Game Shoot with the DBW Clay Company, Dorset

September 2014
"Turning up with 25 important clients, with a view to keeping them happy for a whole day, is quite a challenge. DBW Clay Company filled the brief to the rafters, with a great day, full of interest, fun and challenges. Even the regular guns learned something about safe shooting and trying to hit clays. At the same time, novices all enjoyed themselves. There was sufficient range that we all could try our skills to the max. The instructors were brilliant – real experts but very sympathetic and helpful. Everyone who came with us has already signed up for next year!

"We were absolutely thrilled to hold our second annual corporate Clay Shooting event with DBW Clay Company Ltd. The instructors ensured our day was thoroughly enjoyable for our guests. Safety is of course paramount when arranging such an event and this was seamlessly taken care of and the setting was ideal, giving us access to a multitude of scenarios and opportunities to take numerous shots from varying aspects and speeds."

"Derek and his team were accommodating and we were once again most impressed by the fabulous instruction and attention to detail, which made even our novice guests feel comfortable and at ease. Every individual experienced the thrill of shattering a few clays, which is a fantastic result and based on the feedback I received from all of our guests, I would wholeheartedly recommend DBW Clay Company."

"We were extremely impressed with the overall experience at Crichel Clay Shoot.

We found the clay pigeon shooting both entertaining and challenging. The catering facilities were perfect for a corporate event for which we have received some amazing feedback from our business contacts.

The success of the event was greatly assisted by the fantastic efforts of Derek and his team who were professional and veryattentive. We look forward to coming back in the near future."

"Dear Derek, I just wanted to drop you a note to say a huge thank you for yesterday. We were blessed with fabulous weather and were superbly looked after by your team. Everything ran incredibly smoothly and without exception the guns had a fabulous time. The team could not have been more receptive, charming, discreet or fun, allowing us to really enjoy the day. None of us have eaten so well in weeks, the quality of the food was wonderful throughout, from fresh coffee on arrival to a tea I don’t think we had room to do justice to after the exceptional lunch."

"Everyone had a great time so thank you for making it a great experience (again)".

Guy Jameson.

"Thank you so much to you and your very capable team who made our afternoon hen do activity of clay pigeon shooting one to remember. Your knowledge, professionalism and your patience (with many of us!!) was second to none and you put us at ease at once. All the hens had a wonderful time and I know for certain that I will be recommending you to others! Thanks!"

Rachel Sparks.

"By far the best shooting day that can be had outside the game day that Derek provides during the season. From first arrival in this stunning setting, you are hosted in superb style. The day in the field is expertly organised, challenging and most importantly, great fun, targets and banter from all directions!

After the unique final 'duck drive', going back to relax in the Shoot room with an excellent dinner is the ideal end to a cracking day. Not just a simulated day but an unmissable experience for both the established and novice gun."

"I must honestly say that, having done this type of thing before, you leave the competition standing, and whilst I did my research before choosing you, I was not expecting such a standard of service or venue."

George Tucker,
Director, Kreab Gavin Anderson.

"Just a note to thank you and all your staff for another superb day spent trying to hit those little clays. I sometimes think I could give up the real thing as these days are always such fun - maybe it's the licensed poaching of next door's clays that does it.
I hope to see you in the coming season to sample again your hospitality in the field and that of your caterer afterwards."
